(Beijing China) Ucs News-- The International Olympic Committee announced today that 3 athletes scheduled to compete in the Beijing Olympics tested negative for banned substances. The names of the 3 athletes is being withheld while officials consider legal action.
IOC President Jacques Rogge stated, "We are shocked that we have these athletes following the rules, it is a disgrace." Rogge confirmed the testing was stepped up in preparation for the event. "We knew there would be a few bad apples following the IOC rules for performance enhancing drugs. We found them and they will be punished."
