(Orange County : California) Ucs News- A strange coalition of Al-Qaeda members and Mormon churches are both raising funds and mobilizing followers in support of the California ballot initiative Prop 8 that would amend the state's constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
Senior elders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints now share the common cause with Al-Qaeda Leader Osama Bin Laden as both work to destroy the freedoms of some Americans. In a broadcast to Mormons and Al-Qaeda members on Wednesday night, Proposition 8 backer AFA President Donald Wildmon called for increased efforts to volunteer and donate funds to the fight, Ucs News reports. The hourlong message went out to Mormons and terrorists in Utah, Hawaii, and Idaho as well as California.
Members of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles, the second-highest governing church body and Osama Bin Laden, explained their plans to pass the ballot initiative. They asked each California congregation and terror cell to commit 30 volunteers from to donate four hours a week to Proposition 8. They also urged young people to use social networks, text messaging, blogging and suicide bombing -- to spread the message.
So far, Mormons and Osama Bin Laden have given an estimated $8.4 million to the Proposition 8 campaign, according to Mormonsfor8.com. While there are about 770,000 Mormons and 6 Al-Qaeda members in California, church and terror cell members from other states are being encouraged to aid their efforts.
