(KENTUCKY : USA) Ucs News – The White Supremacist group known as the Ku Klux Klan has endorsed the black Democratic candidate Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States of America. In a statement released to the media, the KKK’s Imperial Wizard, Ronald Edwards, confirmed the groups leadership would be instructing it’s members to vote for the Illinois Senator.
Speaking from his Kentucky office in Dawson Springs, the Imperial Wizard stated “The irresponsible economic policies of the Republican administration and John McCains failure to produce a creditable solution to the current crisis make it impossible for us to support the Arizona Senator regardless if he is white, black or purple.”
Edwards went of to explain the membership of the Ku Klux Klan looks more like the AARP, with an average age of nearly 57 years old. “With our members facing retirement and increasing healthcare costs we need President that will spend our tax dollars at home on us, rather than building schools and killing people in Iraq!” Edwards now feels the Obama platform is more responsive to the needs of the KKK membership.
Long time Klan critic Arthur Sims stated, “This is the first time in Klan history that any member of the KKK has ever publicly supported an African American candidate for the presidency. I can see why, with it’s membership aging and moving to fixed incomes it’s about time the groups efforts turned to defending it’s members living standards rather than the extermination of non-white races.”
Sims also mentioned the Klan must face the reality of the nations changing demographics. According to Sims the groups declining membership and lackluster fund raising has made it impossible for the Ku Klux Klan finance the nationwide race war the groups charter advocates. There will just be too many minorities for the Klan to have any hope of destroying. It’s time the Klan moved on to more realistic goals such as eliminating the tax on Social Security payments or making prescription drugs more affordable.
Even the the Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan can see the interests of his members will be better served by a progressive black Democrat such as Barack Obama rather than John McCain the aging, conservative Republican war hero.
