(Washington D.C.) Ucs News  Unconfirmed Sources report that Barbra Streisand has given Mr Trump some much needed advice on how to handle his growing Russia Scandal.  Mr Trump and his administration have come under increasing pressure to reveal the many contacts that it has with Russian intelligence officials.   These numerous and secretive contacts Mr Trump’s campaign had with Russians threaten to derail his Presidency.

Top advisors Paul Manafort, Cater Page, Michael Flynn, Jeff Sessions and Jared Kushner have been implicated the scandal.  Trump and his loyalists continue to publicly push back on the story.  They even enlisted the help of Senator Richard Burr of the intelligence committee and the House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes.  Burr and Nunes called media outlets to lobby on behalf of the administration’s “Nothing to see here.” program.

Some in the administration and the press, however, believe that the aggressive push back by the administration is actully drawing more attention to the issue.

The Streisand effect

The Streisand effect is the phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet.

The namesake of the effect famous actor and singer Barbra Streisand was able to speak with Mr Trump about his situation.

Ms. Streisand and Mr. Trump met briefly in the White House after a press event and Streisand was apparently heard carefully explaining to Mr Trump how to handle this delicate situation.  She took care to explain it way Mr. Trump would understand.

“With all to respect Mr President….  SHUT THE F%$K UP.”

According to our unconfirmed source, Mr. Trump thanked Ms Streisand for her advice, but did not indicate that he would follow it.
