Iraqi Prime Minister announces plan to withdrawal from Iraq

(Baghdad : Ucs News International) Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki shocked the world today when he announce the Iraqi plan to withdrawal from the war torn nation of Iraq. According to al-Maliki the Iraqi army would begin a “fighting retreat” from Baghdad in the coming hours. The Bush administration responded immediately stating that US troops would not be leaving Iraq- ever.

Iraqi Prime Mister al-Maliki Stated “I don’t care what America does in Iraq we are pulling out.” The Iraqi National assembly voted unanimously to start the withdrawal as soon as possible. The plans calls for the entire Iraqi population, defended by the Iraqi army to withdrawal from the bloody conflict.

Jalal Talabani, current President of Iraq, said “We can see the war in Iraq is a lost cause, We no longer see the use of more Iraqi troops being sacrificed.” A spokesmen for Talabani went on to explain that a small Iraq force of 30,000 to 50,000 troops would be left in place to protect the oil infrastructure. The revenue of oil resources will be required to resettle the Iraq population after the withdrawal.

Following the Iraqi announcement the US ground commander in Iraq Gen. David Petraeus stated, “I wish the Iraqis would reconsider leaving their country, The next 3 to 6 months of the war are critical but I think we are now turning the corner in Iraq.”
