(Straight Talk Express) Ucs News– Arizona Senator and Republican Presidential candidate, John McCain let fly his trademark “Straight Talk” on the California Courts. “It is not the California courts job to protect gays and Lesbians from illegal discrimination.” stated McCain to a crowd gathered in Columbus, Ohio.
According to McCain, California’s constitution does not protect gays and Lesbians from discrimination. “The constitutions equal protection under the law does not extend to gays and Lesbians. Period!” said the Arizona Senator. “A 2004 ballot measure made gay marriage illegal, the mob rules not the courts.” declared McCain.
“[McCain] supports the right of the people of California to recognize marriage as a unique institution sanctioning the union between straight men and straight women, just as he did in his home state of Arizona. John McCain doesn’t believe judges should be making these decisions.”
McCain went on to warn Gays and Lesbians, “They don’t call it the Straight Talk Express for nothing, these gays can expect more trouble from me when I’m elected President.”
