John McCain to Guest Star in Season 2 of The Pentagon's September 11th Show Trials

(Washington) The Pentagon announced today that season 2 of The September 11th Show Trials would be starting soon. Season 2 will be composed of six show trials with the finial trial to be that of Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the attacks. The Pentagon also announced that Senator and Veteran John McCain will be the special guest judge for all six trials.

“I can’t tell you how excited we are at the Pentagon to be launching Season 2.” Says Major John Smith. “Season 1 was such a hit we knew we would have to do another, and with the Presidential elections and the writers strike the timing was perfect. I think this is going to be the biggest show trial series in history.”

“This is going to be huge.” Says TV watcher Victor Johnson. “I don’t know how they landed John McCain, but I bet he is going to meat out some serious justice.”

“We are just glad to be asked to participate.” says McCain spokesmen Bill Ligerent. “We saw in the last election how terror alerts and September 11th talked whipped the American public into a fearful frenzy, so we are just glad to be able to benefit from it this time. Having the Senator judge these terrorists will send a powerful message that only he can protect America.”

The trials will be set in the extra-legal zone of Guantanamo Bay Cuba and there are rumors that other Republican stars will make cameo appearances.
