Lost season extended by two hours : John McCain Makes Guest Appearance

LOS-ANGELES (UCS Hollywood ) – ABC has found 2 more hours for this seasons finale of Lost. The closing episodes of the hit drama will be 3 hours each — not 2, as previously planned for the 2008.

ABC has added two hours to the show’s production plan to allow Arizona Senator Jon Mccain to join the cast for a “thrilling finale”.

To highlight McCain’s appearance , the network recently added an additional 2 hours to the final act that airs May 29. All told, the changes will wrap up the show with the same number of episodes that producers and ABC negotiated last year before the writers strike.

According to the Executive producer, Carlton Cuse, McCain will play the part of a US commando stranded in the island during the Vietnam war. McCain’s character has a bloody fist fight with John Locke, then joins Locke to search the island for his misplaced “bearings”.
