(New York) Ucs News: Sylvia Browne the well known but controversial celebrity psychic received life threatening injures in a bizarre “accident” last night. According to witness attending the session with Browne, the lights dimmed, a blast of hot wind filled the room. While the attendees looked for the source of the disturbance, a heavy object apparently struck Brown fracturing her skull.
A video tape from the session shows Browne chanting in an attempt to contact Perry DeAngelis. DeAngelis, the popular Skeptic and critic of Brown passed away in August of 2007. Brown, seeking publicity for her new book had been channeling past friends and foes to assemble a “Greatest hits” video compilation.
According the medical team treating Sylvia Brown, her wounds are consistent with being struck by a brick. “Sylvia Browne is in critical but stable condition. It is the opinion of the staff that Browne will survive but we can’t guarantee that her psychic ability will return.” said Steven Novella, MD.
Analysis of the video tape revealed a ghostly image of a monkey with a birds head. The creature is seen hurtling an object at Brown before fading back into the darkness.
Jay Novella a noted skeptic confirmed the tape does contain the bizarre image. “Well it looks to me like Perry didn’t want to be disturbed, I can understand completely, I would want Sylvia Browne channeling me either.”
Sylvia Browne (born Sylvia Celeste Shoemaker October 19, 1936) is a best-selling American author on the subject of spirituality and is a celebrity psychic and medium.
She is a weekly guest on The Montel Williams Show and hosts her own hour-long show on Hay House Radio, discussing paranormal issues and giving callers advice in her role as a psychic.
Critics such as James Randi have argued that Browne uses mentalist techniques to produce the illusion of mind reading and clairvoyance. Other critics just think she is full of crap.
Rest in Peace Perry.
