VICE PRESIDENT URGES LARRY CRAIG NOT TO RESIGN

WASHINGTON — Involved in an alleged sexual encounter in a Minneapolis airport men’s room, to which he pleaded guilty, Senator Larry Craig (R. ID.) was turned down in an attempt to have his guilty plea withdrawn. Despite his statement that he would resign from Congress, he now says he will complete his term, which has greatly upset Republicans who will soon run for relection.


Republican congressmen already reeling from a multitude of bad news involving their members, urged Craig to quietly disappear.

Craig, who strongly proclaims his innocence, said that his decision to continue in congress came as a result of Vice President Dick Cheney’s urging him to reconsider his resignation ” Many is the time I have innocently tapped my foot in a public restroom,” said Cheney.”
